In the gripping 7th episode of tvN's 'The Tyrant's Chef' (directed by Jang Tae-yoo, written by fGRD), aired on the night of the 13th at 9:10 PM, viewers witnessed Lee Heon (played by Lee Chae-min) coming to the rescue of Yeon Ji-young (played by Im Yoon-ah) who found herself in danger.

During the episode, Yeon Ji-young sought to meet Jang Chun-saeng (played by Go Chang-seok), a descendant of Jang Yeong-sil, to request the creation of a pressure cooker for an upcoming culinary competition with the Ming Dynasty. She asked Lee Heon for permission to leave the palace, saying, "To find good ingredients, you must go to places with good mountains and water." Although Lee Heon hesitated, he expressed his intention to accompany her, saying, "It's better if I go with you," but was ultimately persuaded to stay in the palace by Chang-seon (played by Jang Gwang). Instead, he assigned Im Song-jae (played by Oh Eui-sik) to ensure her safety.

However, as Yeon Ji-young and Im Song-jae set off, Lee Heon couldn't hide his jealousy. He remarked, "If others see them, they might think they're a couple. This can't happen," showing his discomfort. As the duo embarked on their journey, Gong Gil (played by Lee Joo-an) appeared, followed by Lee Heon, who presented a somewhat forced yet endearing reason for joining them. He stated, "It's inappropriate for a man and woman to be alone together, so I must accompany them to avoid any misunderstandings," adding, "Anyone can see she's a woman," and ultimately joined Yeon Ji-young.

The trio eventually reached Jang Chun-saeng's house, where he handed over the pressure cooker. Just as a bright smile spread across Yeon Ji-young's face, a group of assassins suddenly attacked. As the assassins closed in, Lee Heon grabbed Yeon Ji-young's hand, urging, "Hide behind me," and shielded her with his body. Jang Chun-saeng used his own weapons to fend off some of the attackers, but they kept coming.

In the chaos, Yeon Ji-young got caught in a scuffle, injuring her wrist, and the pressure cooker was damaged, losing its lid. Clutching the damaged cooker, Yeon Ji-young and Lee Heon fled, only to encounter more assassins. Enraged, Lee Heon demanded, "Who sent you?" as he wielded his sword, sustaining a shoulder injury in the fierce battle. Despite his injury, he maintained his composure, saying, "Don't make a fuss. I won't die."

At a critical moment, Im Song-jae appeared, defeating the assassins, while Yeon Ji-young, overwhelmed by shock, collapsed. Lee Heon, injured and deeply concerned, looked on anxiously, heightening the tension.
