Kim Jong-kook has opened up about the behind-the-scenes of his marriage and the reason his mother left the show 'My Little Old Boy.'

On the 11th, a video was uploaded to Kim Jong-kook's channel 'Gym Jong-kook,' where he shared insights into his recent marriage.

In the video, Kim Jong-kook expressed his gratitude for the wedding congratulations, stating, "Thank you for the wedding congratulations. I had to step away because the preparations were so tight." He continued, "I also filmed a video to announce the wedding to my acquaintances. I couldn't play it at the wedding venue due to the decorations, so I'm revealing it here."

He specifically addressed why his mother hasn't appeared on the SBS show 'My Little Old Boy' recently, explaining, "We wanted to prepare quietly because of the wedding. My wife wanted to keep it low-key, and I don't like being in the spotlight."

Kim Jong-kook also shared moments of informing his friends about his marriage. Upon hearing the news, Seo Jang-hoon remarked, "I suspected it when your mother stopped appearing on 'My Little Old Boy' and you bought a house."

Yoo Jae-suk also commented, "I thought there was a reason when you bought the house. Now I understand," offering his congratulations to Kim Jong-kook.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook tied the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend on the 5th in a private ceremony in Seoul, attended only by family and close friends. The ceremony was hosted by his close friend Yoo Jae-suk.
