Mnet's 'BOYS II PLANET' is set to captivate global star creators with its semi-final new song performances. The show, which started with a 0.3% viewership rating on July 17, has recently doubled its ratings to 0.6%.

Tonight (11th), the 9th episode of 'BOYS II PLANET' will unveil four new song stages, showcasing a range of explosive energy and sweet excitement. As participants continue to demonstrate their growing skills and powerful performances, anticipation builds for how they will capture the hearts of star creators this time.

The semi-final new songs 'MAIN DISH', 'Lucky MACHO', 'Chains', and 'Sugar HIGH' feature an intriguing lineup of producers. 'MAIN DISH', with its powerful beats, has garnered attention as members of the global top virtual boy group PLAVE participated in writing, composing, and choreographing the song. PLAVE expressed their joy in gifting a song they created themselves. The song combines old-school hip-hop vibes with rock sounds, and the participants' explosive energy is expected to create a memorable stage.

'Lucky MACHO' is a hybrid hip-hop track combining trap and Miami bass. With producers TRIPPY and Benji Bae, who have made their mark in the global K-POP market, the song features bold transitions and a free-spirited atmosphere. Dance masters Kani and Baek Gu-young have also contributed to the choreography, enhancing the stage's completeness. There is keen interest in how the participants' unique performances will be integrated.

'Chains' is anticipated due to the involvement of lyricist Jo Yoon-kyung, known for hits by Girls' Generation, IZ*ONE, and SEVENTEEN, along with skilled composers and producers TOYO, FRANTS, AVENUE 52, and SQVARE. The new songs will also be released as digital tracks today (11th) at 6 PM. A 'semi-final new song streaming evaluation' will be conducted based on domestic music sites Genie Music and Melon charts. Rankings will be tallied tomorrow (12th) at 9 AM, with up to 200,000 points directly affecting participant rankings. Attention is focused on how streaming performance will impact the final survival competition alongside stage buzz.
