Actress Kim Yeo-jin Reflects on the Conclusion of 'Esquire'

Kim Yeo-jin played the role of Kwon Na-yeon, the steadfast pillar and humanistic leader of the law firm Yulim, leading the drama's narrative. The series, which aired its final episode on October 7, was written by Park Mi-hyun and directed by Kim Jae-hong.
Through her agency, 935 Entertainment, Kim expressed her gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank all the viewers who loved 'Esquire.' From the moment I first read the script, I found it so entertaining that I was sure many would enjoy it, and indeed, the love it received made me very happy."
She continued, "I particularly remember the scenes with actor Lee Jae-yeon, who played Choi Yoon-geun. Despite being in a position of temptation, he was nervous, and I recall coaching him through it, which brings a smile to my face." Reflecting on the warm moments on set, she added, "Usually, when a project ends, one feels bittersweet, but this time, the sadness outweighs the relief. It was an honor to work with such an excellent production team and fellow actors, and it will remain an unforgettable memory. Thanks to the viewers who stayed with us until the end, this project could be completed. I promise to return with more great works."
In the drama, Kwon Na-yeon played a pivotal role in the latter half, challenging the power dynamics within Yulim by proposing the dismissal of CEO Go Seung-chul (played by Kim Eui-sung) and securing crucial evidence from CEO Ban Ki-seung to resolve the case. Despite various external pressures, Na-yeon did not give up and ultimately protected Yulim, showcasing her true leadership.
Kim Yeo-jin, known for her wide-ranging performances in various works, once again demonstrated her stable acting and deep presence in 'Esquire,' adding credibility to her character. As she embarks on another meaningful acting transformation, anticipation builds for her future endeavors.
