Yoon Min-soo Expresses Interest in Son Yoon Hoo's Love Life on 'My Ugly Duckling'

On the recent episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling,' singer Yoon Min-soo's son, Yoon Hoo, made an appearance, showcasing his impressive transformation.

Yoon Hoo, now 20 years old, surprised viewers with his muscular physique and broad shoulders, while still maintaining his adorable charm.

During the episode, Yoon Hoo advised his father, Yoon Min-soo, who was exercising, saying, "Why are you doing something you never did before? You've gained a lot of weight lately. It's good you're thinking about your health."

Yoon Min-soo explained, "I don't lose weight because of my singing. I can't hit the high notes. It's not for aesthetic purposes," but Yoon Hoo humorously retorted, "Dad, you're too ugly. You should do it for aesthetics," causing laughter.

The physical assessment revealed Yoon Min-soo's height and weight as 174cm and 80kg, respectively, indicating he needed to lose 12kg to reach his ideal weight of 68kg. Yoon Hoo bluntly commented, "Dad, you're completely obese."

Seo Jang-hoon, impressed by Yoon Hoo's physique, remarked, "It's strange to see so much hair under Hoo's arms," noting the changes in Yoon Hoo's appearance.

Yoon Hoo, who previously suffered a herniated disc injury while exercising, was asked by his father if he was working out to find a girlfriend in the U.S. Yoon Hoo clarified, "I do have a slight interest, but it's mainly for health reasons."

When Yoon Hoo revealed he had never dated anyone in the U.S., Yoon Min-soo expressed frustration, "Are you still single? Junsu held hands in middle school."

Yoon Hoo responded, "I held hands in middle school too. I'm not single. I've dated and even confessed. I asked someone out." He admitted to breaking up via DM, saying, "I didn't initiate the breakup. I was dumped."

Concerned about his son's love life, Yoon Min-soo asked, "Why did you break up? Was it a mismatch? How hard was it?"

Yoon Hoo shared, "It was during my first year of high school. I started studying hard after that," referring to his 'breakup study method.' Yoon Min-soo laughed, "No wonder your grades improved then. That's why you went to an American university."

Yoon Hoo, who initially claimed he hadn't dated anyone in the U.S., eventually confessed, "I didn't want to tell you because you'd tease me. I'll hide so well you'll never find me, even if I have to run to the ends of the earth."

Feeling left out, Yoon Min-soo suggested, "Start an SNS account. I'm curious about your life in America. You don't send me photos, so I'd like to see updates through SNS." Yoon Hoo agreed to the idea.
