Actor Kim Kang-woo Showcases His Romantic Side on 'Baekban Journey'

On the episode aired on the 7th, Kim Kang-woo made a special appearance, reminiscent of his role as Seong-chan in the movie 'Le Grand Chef', by arriving in a delivery truck, catching the attention of viewers. Heo Young-man, who also made a cameo in the movie, expressed his admiration, saying, "You haven't changed a bit since then."
Heo Young-man recalled his cameo experience in 'Le Grand Chef', saying, "I was just a country bumpkin on set. I had one line, 'Ahaha, it's a feast,' but I was so nervous with all the cameras around."



Kim Kang-woo revealed that his interest in cooking grew after filming 'Le Grand Chef'. He said, "Before, I vaguely thought if I weren't an actor, I'd like to be a chef. That's why I enjoyed working on 'Le Grand Chef' so much."
Known for his villainous roles before 'Le Grand Chef', Kim Kang-woo shared, "People used to find me intimidating, but I'm not like that. I'm close with my wife like a friend, and people are surprised when they see me with my kids."



Kim Kang-woo started dating his wife before his entertainment career and married her after eight years of dating. He reminisced, "By the time we were dating, I was 33, and from a woman's perspective, it was time to get married."
Celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary, Kim Kang-woo revealed, "I've spent half my life with my wife. I wrote her a heartfelt letter," showcasing his romantic side.



Meanwhile, Kim Kang-woo, who maintains a weight of 74-76 kg at a height of 180 cm, shared, "In an interview, I mentioned that my weight has been the same since high school because my height hasn't changed, which sparked some controversy. I'm not a dieter; I'm a maintainer."
