Amidst the ongoing struggles of Cheon Ho-jin's family, Jung Il-woo and Jung In-sun embark on a collaboration in a tense atmosphere.

In the 9th episode of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Our Golden Days' (directed by Kim Hyung-seok, written by So Hyun-kyung), which aired on the evening of the 6th, Lee Ji-hyuk (played by Jung Il-woo) proposes a collaboration to Ji Eun-oh (played by Jung In-sun), marking the beginning of their precarious partnership.

During the episode, Ji Eun-oh, who had declared her intention to quit her job as a cafe manager, is approached by Lee Ji-hyuk, who candidly shares his situation and earnestly pleads for her help. Moved by his desperation, Ji Eun-oh agrees to let Ji-hyuk stay in the warehouse. Ji-hyuk then immerses himself in work day and night, even dozing off while washing his face, leaving Ji Eun-oh astonished.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang-chul (played by Cheon Ho-jin) juggles attending an academy to obtain an electrician's license, eating convenience store food, and working part-time loading and unloading packages. His mother, Jo Ok-rye (played by Ban Hyo-jung), also takes on a part-time job to support him, only to find herself in an unexpected encounter with her in-law, Kim Jang-soo (played by Yoon Joo-sang), on her first day. Kim Jang-soo suggests they work together, saying, "It's not easy to find a job at our age," and "As long as the kids don't find out."

Park Sung-jae (played by Yoon Hyun-min) visits Ji-hyuk's newly opened office in the warehouse. Ji-hyuk is puzzled by the sudden closeness between Park Sung-jae and Ji Eun-oh, whom he barely knows. He also feels a twinge of jealousy when he sees Park Sung-jae preparing fruit for Ji Eun-oh's father's memorial service, adding tension to the love triangle.

Lee Ji-wan (played by Son Sang-yeon) expresses disappointment when Park Young-ra (played by Park Jung-yeon) hesitates to address him by a title. Eventually, Park Young-ra calls him 'oppa,' signaling a change in their relationship, and they grow closer. Meanwhile, Go Seong-hee (played by Lee Tae-ran) reveals her ambitions by relocating Park Young-ra's fitness center to connect her with a third-generation chaebol.

Lee Ji-hyuk, taking on his first client, offers Ji Eun-oh a substantial sum of 20 million won for collaboration. When Ji Eun-oh expresses skepticism, Ji-hyuk assures her, "You're not just a simple coordinator; I need a reliable first case, which is why I'm inviting you," showing his trust in her. However, Ji Eun-oh initially rejects his proposal.

Towards the end of the episode, Ji Eun-oh's brother, Ji Kang-oh (played by Yang Hyuk), rushes into the cafe, urgently asking Ji Eun-oh for money. After a failed stock investment, Ji Kang-oh is pursued by loan sharks, putting Ji Eun-oh in danger. Despite the threat, Ji Eun-oh stands firm. With Ji-hyuk's help, the loan sharks retreat, and Ji Eun-oh, having repaid Ji Kang-oh's debt, reconsiders Ji-hyuk's proposal, setting the stage for their tense collaboration. Previously, Ji-hyuk had attempted a contract marriage with Jo Bo-ah (played by Go Won-hee), but it fell through.

The 10th episode of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Our Golden Days' will air on the evening of the 7th at 8 PM.
