Lee Jung-hyun's 3-year-old daughter, Seo-ah, has made her acting debut in her mother's film.

On the October 5th episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang', the filming scene of singer and actress Lee Jung-hyun's second directorial project was revealed.

During the episode, Lee Jung-hyun announced, "I'm shooting my second film." Her first directorial work, 'Going to the Flower Festival', was invited to the Jeonju International Film Festival and received high praise from director Park Chan-wook. Park had previously encouraged her to continue with feature films, to which Lee humorously replied, "Please help me, with investments."

Regarding her current project, Lee stated, "It's my graduate project. I'm handling directing, production, acting, art, props, and costumes all by myself," expressing the challenges of working on an independent film with limited budget.

Her husband, who helped with various tasks at home, jokingly asked, "Will you just graduate with this film? Can you win an award at a film festival? You're going to make another feature film, right?" prompting laughter.

Lee playfully told her husband, "Goodnight, dream of me," to which he replied, "Please don't," showcasing the reality of their seven-year marriage.

On the day of filming, Lee woke up at 4:30 AM to prepare kimbap, eating as she made it. She commented, "I need to look a bit puffy to look good on screen. When I'm puffy, people say I look pretty, but when I'm not, they ask why I look so thin. I even eat spicy chicken before bed to puff up. If I'm too thin, I don't look good on screen." Her friend Shinji humorously remarked, "That's something that only applies to you," causing laughter.

The film also features her daughter Seo-ah as an actress. Lee mentioned, "My husband appeared a lot in my first film. Since it's an independent film, I have to cast through connections."

Seo-ah, who received a line, "Goodbye, sister," memorized it perfectly, drawing attention. Lee coached her, saying, "You have to act, Seo-ah. Think about when you were sad. Isn't it sad when dad doesn't play with you?" helping her immerse in the emotion.

In the first take, Seo-ah followed a butterfly, causing an NG, but in the next cut, she perfectly portrayed the sad emotion, earning an OK. After her successful acting debut, Seo-ah went to kindergarten, bringing a smile to her mother's face.

Lee's husband made a surprise appearance on set with coffee, still in his doctor's attire, wearing a banner with a supportive acrostic poem for his wife like a cape, causing laughter. Although Lee was embarrassed, the staff expressed envy, saying, "The director is a loved woman."

Her husband encouraged her, "You seem stressed from filming lately, but finish well." Although Lee grumbled about the coffee being a latte instead of an Americano, she expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you, honey, I love you." The film is expected to be released at the end of this year or early next year, heightening anticipation.
