Eunji Jung Makes a Special Appearance in 'To the Moon', Showcasing Her Friendship with Sunbin Lee

Eunji Jung is set to make a special appearance in the upcoming MBC drama 'To the Moon', highlighting her genuine friendship with Sunbin Lee.

Premiering on the 19th, 'To the Moon' is a new Friday-Saturday drama that follows the hyper-realistic survival story of three women who dive into cryptocurrency investments as they struggle to make ends meet with their salaries. The show stars Sunbin Lee (as Jung Da-hae), Miran Ra (as Kang Eun-sang), Aram Jo (as Kim Ji-song), and Youngdae Kim (as Ham Ji-woo), each bringing their unique charm and personality to their roles, promising a dynamic chemistry.

The first episode will be further enriched by a special guest appearance from Eunji Jung. She will portray a police officer who interacts with Jung Da-hae (played by Sunbin Lee) at the police station, sharing in Da-hae's desperate situation with empathy and anger, leaving a strong impression despite her brief appearance.

In the released photos, Eunji Jung's transformation in a police uniform catches the eye. Sunbin Lee stands with a bewildered expression, while Eunji Jung clenches her fist in encouragement. The Christmas decorations in the background add to the curiosity about why Sunbin Lee's character ends up at the police station during what should be a festive and romantic time of year.

This seamless chemistry stems from their real-life friendship. Having portrayed a strong bond of friendship in the 'Work Later, Drink Now' series, Sunbin Lee and Eunji Jung maintain their close relationship off-screen. Eunji Jung previously sent a coffee truck to the 'To the Moon' set and agreed to make a special appearance out of loyalty to Sunbin Lee, adding warmth to the production.
