Kian84 Embarks on an Extreme Marathon Challenge in New Show 'Extreme84'

Kian84, the popular South Korean entertainer, is set to embark on a new adventure with the upcoming variety show 'Extreme84'. Previously, he was honored with the '2025 Brand of the Year Award' for the travel variety show 'Around the World as Born 4', marking his third consecutive win in the travel entertainment category.

On the 4th, MBC announced the launch of their new variety show 'Extreme84'. This show will feature Kian84 taking on a marathon course that exceeds the traditional 42.195 kilometers, pushing himself to the limits in extreme marathon conditions. The show promises to capture his journey of testing his endurance and determination in this ultra-challenging running variety show.

'Extreme84' is a franchise project that expands the universe of MBC's flagship variety show 'I Live Alone'. Directed by Park Soo-bin, who previously captured Kian84's marathon journey in 'I Live Alone - Kian84 Race Day in New York', the show aims to deliver an even more immersive and expanded challenge.

Kian84's marathon journey began with the 2023 Cheongju Full Marathon. In 2024, he completed the New York Marathon, one of the world's seven major marathons, with a time of 4 hours and 48 minutes. Now, he is set to take on a race that transcends the standard marathon distance, testing his endurance and survival instincts in unimaginable conditions. Viewers are eager to see what unexpected moments will unfold in this extreme environment.

The production team of 'Extreme84' stated, "We aim to present the familiar challenge of marathons through Kian84's unique perspective and approach, delivering an extreme narrative never before seen on television. The show will offer a blend of humor, inspiration, and the raw survival instincts of humanity."

'Extreme84' is set to premiere in November.
