Gangnam Expresses Gratitude for Wife Lee Sang-hwa's Devotion to Family During Father's Cancer Battle

Gangnam has expressed his heartfelt gratitude for his wife Lee Sang-hwa's unwavering love and support for his family.

Gangnam shared that his wife took care of all the medical expenses and meals during his father's battle with liver cancer.

On the October 3rd episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' the couple, who have been married for seven years, made an appearance.

During the show, Gangnam revealed, "My father was suddenly diagnosed with liver cancer, and Sang-hwa contacted him more often than I did, ensuring he was eating well and taking care of his health."

He added, "My father gets emotional every time he sees Sang-hwa. She took care of everything from medical bills to meals. She's my wife, but she feels like a mother too."

Reflecting on the time of her father-in-law's illness, Lee Sang-hwa said, "My father-in-law had issues with his liver and heart, so I sent him vacuum-packed Korean food or visited Japan to take care of him. He only ate the food I prepared after his surgery. Thankfully, he has recovered well and is healthy now."

When asked about phrases they often say to each other, Gangnam humorously shared, "My wife often tells me to come home quickly, massage her back, and stop eating so much." Lee Sang-hwa expressed her affection by saying, "I often tell my husband he's cute."
