Veteran actor Kim Kap-soo recently shared a touching story about his encounter with BTS member Jin, stating, "A young man approached me and greeted me first."

On November 1st, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhyung' uploaded a video titled 'Kim Kap-soo Hyung, Have You Been Holding Back for 40 Years? This Hyung Has Been Holding Back His Words for Life.'

Kim Kap-soo revealed, "I'm an ARMY too. Isn't it fun?" as he began discussing BTS. He added, "I joined the fan club, but I haven't followed them overseas. Their music is outstanding, and all the members are remarkable."

He reminisced about his chance meeting with Jin, saying, "One day, I was having lunch at a local restaurant when a young man came up and greeted me. That was BTS's Jin." He humorously noted, "At the time, I didn't know what BTS was. If he had said Bangtan Sonyeondan, I would have known."

Kim Kap-soo explained, "It turned out he was there with his mother. I told Jin's mother, 'You must be proud to have such a wonderful son,' and encouraged Jin to keep working hard." When Shin Dong-yup commented, "It could have been awkward, but it's nice that he greeted you first," Kim praised, "The kids are well-mannered and polite. That's why I can't help but like them."

After that day, Kim Kap-soo joined BTS's fan club, ARMY, saying, "Whether he knows it or not, I felt I had to do something. So, I officially joined the ARMY fan club. I'm a paid member." When Shin Dong-yup remarked, "The BTS members would be touched," Kim humorously replied, "With fans all over the world, what's the big deal?"

Kim Kap-soo also reminisced about filming the drama 'Taejo Wang Geon.' He shared, "I was supposed to die in episode 70 or 80, but our team was so popular that they couldn't kill me off. I remember telling the director, 'Shouldn't we die? We were supposed to die in episode 70, but we went on for 30 more episodes until episode 100. Money is good, but please let us die with integrity.'"

He continued, "Eventually, I did die, and the writer asked how I wanted to go. 'Do you want to be stabbed, poisoned, or fall to your death?' I chose to die by poison. While other team members were filming sword fights and horseback riding scenes in the mountains, I drank poison and died on set."
