Actress Lee Sung-mi Opens Up About Life After Breast Cancer Recovery

Actress Lee Sung-mi has shared her thoughts on health and life following her recovery from breast cancer.

On the 29th, the final episode featuring Lee Sung-mi was released on Song Seung-hwan's channel, 'Song Seung-hwan's Wonderful Life.'

In the video, Song Seung-hwan asked Lee Sung-mi, "Have you fully recovered from breast cancer?" Lee responded, "It's been 10 years, so I am considered cured. There hasn't been a recurrence, but I've developed lumps in other areas. There's also a hole in my lung," she explained.

Lee Sung-mi candidly shared her feelings, saying, "At my age, I'm no longer afraid of death."

She also shared her philosophy on life, stating, "I want to live vertically while I'm alive. I don't want to live horizontally. I want to stand tall and live well," expressing her proactive and positive approach to life.

Despite not enjoying exercise, Lee Sung-mi said, "I'm not in pain. I'm healthier than others. I don't complain about ailments. I'll just live like this until the day I'm called," she said calmly.

Lee Sung-mi debuted in 1980 through the TBC Comedy Contest and later appeared in shows like 'Truth Game' and 'Lee Sung-mi's Story Show.' She married in 1993 and has one son and two daughters.
