Anticipation Builds for 'Mantis: The Murderer's Outing' with Go Hyun-jung and Jang Dong-yoon

The upcoming SBS drama 'Mantis: The Murderer's Outing' is set to premiere on Friday, September 5th, at 9:50 PM. Directed by Byun Young-joo and written by Lee Young-jong, the high-stakes crime thriller has already been hailed as one of the most anticipated series of fall 2025, thanks to its stellar cast and crew.

Go Hyun-jung takes on the role of Jeong I-shin, a notorious serial killer known as 'Mantis' for her brutal murders of five men. Jang Dong-yoon stars as Cha Soo-yeol, a detective who must collaborate with his estranged mother, the 'Mantis,' to prevent further killings.

Director Byun Young-joo expressed her excitement about casting Go Hyun-jung, stating, "As soon as I read the script, I knew Go Hyun-jung was perfect for the role of Jeong I-shin. Her ability to portray complex, multi-layered characters is unparalleled. As a longtime fan, I was thrilled to work with such a legendary actress.
