Attorney Park Ji-hoon's Candid Insights on Divorce Spark Interest

Attorney Park Ji-hoon has garnered attention with his realistic comments on the reasons for divorce.

On the 28th episode of JTBC's variety show 'Can't Be No. 1 Season 2', comedian couple Park Jun-hyung and Kim Ji-hye participated in a 'divorce experience'.

During the mock divorce process, Park Jun-hyung consulted with Attorney Park Ji-hoon for legal advice. Attorney Park explained, "In our country, there are two ways to divorce: contested divorce and uncontested divorce. If five conditions—property division, child custody, child support, visitation rights, and agreement—are met, an uncontested divorce is possible. However, if an agreement is difficult, a contested divorce must proceed."

Attorney Park further elaborated, "A contested divorce requires a reason. Isn't the reason for divorce often cited as personality differences? In reality, divorces don't happen because of personality differences. In contested divorces, personality differences are not valid reasons. Most reasons are infidelity, but it's often difficult to specify, so it's expressed as 'personality differences'."

Meanwhile, Park Jun-hyung and Kim Ji-hye discussed child custody and property division with their respective divorce lawyers. They agreed to respect their children's opinions on custody. For property division, Park Jun-hyung expressed a desire for a 50/50 split, while Kim Ji-hye firmly stated, "The car is on a 24-month installment, so you can take it, but the house should be divided 9 to 1 due to lack of contribution."
