Lee Jung-hyun Expresses Gratitude to Husband on 'New Release Pyeonstorang'

On the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release Pyeonstorang,' actress Lee Jung-hyun shared a glimpse into her life with her husband, who is three years her junior.

During the episode aired on the 29th, Lee Jung-hyun's daughter, Seo-ah, impressed viewers with her proficiency in both Korean and English. In a playful moment, Seo-ah showed her inherited 'doctor DNA' by reassuring her father, who pretended to injure himself while handling a crab, saying, "It's okay, there's no blood. I'll put a band-aid on it."

While waiting for the steamed crab, Lee's husband gave her a massage, lamenting, "I hardly see you at home these days because you're busy preparing for your movie. Our schedules don't match." Lee Jung-hyun expressed her regret, saying, "I feel like we don't even spend an hour together."

The couple's dynamic quickly shifted from sweet to humorous when Lee's husband attempted a back massage, prompting Lee to exclaim, "That really hurts! Are you trying to kill me? Stop it!" Chef Lee Yeon-bok, observing the scene, joked, "He's more like her son than her husband."

Lee Jung-hyun showcased a full course of crab dishes, including steamed crab, crab butter grill, crab ramen, and crab sauce. Her husband's impatience led to a playful exchange, with Lee teasing, "I'm just plating it. You're so old-fashioned!"

During dinner, the couple engaged in an honest conversation. Lee Jung-hyun apologized, saying, "I realized I was too harsh on you after watching the show. I'm sorry. I'll speak more gently from now on." Her husband, however, responded with a cool, "You didn't know?"

As the conversation continued, Lee Jung-hyun attempted to lighten the mood with her 'aegyo' charm, calling her husband "Baby," a term of endearment from their early days.

Her husband confessed, "We used to say we never fought during interviews, but after our first fight, we stopped being cautious." Lee Jung-hyun pointed out his fibs, attributing her frustration to his habitual lying.

Lee Jung-hyun revealed that her husband once lied about helping their daughter with her hygiene routine. He explained with a smile, "I said I did it because there was nothing to floss." Lee emphasized that his habitual lying was a source of her stress.

Despite the playful banter, Lee Jung-hyun expressed deep gratitude for her husband's support during her mother's illness. She recalled, "For two years, my husband took time off work to accompany my mom on weekly trips, even carrying her when she couldn't walk. I'm thankful for that."

After her mother's passing, Lee became pregnant with Seo-ah and began to tease her husband more. He humorously noted, "After we started fighting, my name in her phone changed from 'Baby' to 'Doctor.'"

In response to her husband's nostalgic comment about their dating days, Lee promised to be more gentle in the future, adding, "Even if we fight, I'll always make sure you have a meal."
