Comedians Kim Ji-hye and Park Jun-hyung Explore Virtual Divorce on 20th Anniversary

On the October 28th episode of JTBC's variety show 'Can't Be No. 1 Season 2,' the couple visited a divorce attorney to mark their 20th wedding anniversary. During the session, they filled out divorce papers and engaged in discussions over asset division, in-law conflicts, and child custody.
Kim Ji-hye explained her motivation for the experience, stating, "Over the 20 years of marriage, I've often wondered, 'Should I divorce or not?' At this point, I wanted to experience the divorce process."
The couple first clashed over asset division. Park Jun-hyung proposed a 50-50 split, but Kim Ji-hye disagreed, saying, "It's not 50-50." She claimed, "Park sold our newlywed home for 2 billion won, gave 1 billion to his mother, and only brought 1 billion back." She added, "I've never received living expenses. I've covered all the living costs myself."

Kim Ji-hye also shared her struggles with in-law conflicts, revealing, "I lived with my mother-in-law from the first day of marriage." She reflected, "From then on, I thought, 'This marriage isn't right.' I lived with my mother-in-law for eight years, which brought many challenges. Even if it were just the two of us, we'd have minor arguments, but having two people nagging at me was tough."

Kim Ji-hye insisted on having custody of their children, stating, "Even when I returned late from home shopping during their exam preparations, I took care of the kids. I paid for all their tuition fees." Ultimately, they agreed to respect the children's wishes regarding custody.
