Lee Junho Transforms into a 90s CEO in New Drama 'Typhoon Family'

On the 29th, tvN released the first stills of Lee Junho as Kang Tae-poong in their new weekend drama 'Typhoon Family'. The series is set during the 1997 IMF crisis and follows the journey of a novice businessman who becomes the head of a struggling trading company with no employees, money, or products to sell. It captures the passionate survival stories of ordinary people who held their ground during a bleak period that felt like the end of the world for South Korea.
Lee Junho plays Kang Tae-poong, a former 'Orange Tribe' youth from Apgujeong who grows into a businessman amidst the IMF crisis. Known for his roles in hit dramas like 'The Red Sleeve' and 'King the Land', Lee is set to deliver another iconic character, raising anticipation among fans.

The production team stated, "Lee Junho will not only portray a stylish 90s youth but will also vividly capture the passionate face of a young person enduring a harsh era. We invite viewers to witness how Lee Junho brings Kang Tae-poong's growth story to life, transcending time and creating another signature youth character."
'Typhoon Family' is set to premiere this October.
