The drama 'My Troublesome Star,' featuring actors Uhm Jeong-hwa and Song Seung-heon, has achieved its highest ratings yet.

The fourth episode of the Genie TV original drama, aired on the 26th, showcased the comeback journey of Bong Cheong-ja (played by Uhm Jeong-hwa) as she adapts to reality. Returning as a supporting actress rather than the top star Lim Se-ra proved challenging from the start. The episode ended with Dok-go Cheol (played by Song Seung-heon) rescuing Bong Cheong-ja, heightening anticipation for the upcoming comeback show.

The audience response was explosive. The episode, broadcast on ENA, recorded its highest ratings with a nationwide viewership of 3.1% and 2.8% in the metropolitan area, according to Nielsen Korea's paid household metrics.

Bong Cheong-ja could only watch as Go Hee-young (played by Lee El) achieved the dreams she once had. Seeing Go Hee-young with the Cannes Best Actress trophy only deepened her sense of despair. Bong Cheong-ja's anger grew when Go Hee-young shamelessly mimicked her acceptance speech from 25 years ago.

A turning point arrived for Bong Cheong-ja. After a victim of the 'kkakdugi terror' incident filed a complaint, she faced the changed reality and used her acting skills to win over everyone at the police station. With Dok-go Cheol's help in persuading the victim's parents, Bong Cheong-ja managed to avert the crisis. Fully adapting to her new reality, she resolved to start anew.

Declaring her comeback, Bong Cheong-ja sought out her old family, Min Tae-sook (played by Cha Chung-hwa). However, Min Tae-sook turned away, unable to recognize the changed Bong Cheong-ja. Just as she was about to give up, Bong Cheong-ja shared a past story known only to them, leading to a heartfelt reunion after 25 years. With the help of Min Tae-sook and Goo Nam-joo (played by Hyun Bong-sik), Bong Cheong-ja took a step closer to her dream stage. Her captivating performance, even in a minor role, caught the director's attention, leading to additional lines and a seemingly smooth comeback show.

However, a crisis soon emerged. Perhaps feeling threatened by Bong Cheong-ja's passionate performance, a veteran actor began to harass her. As everyone grew weary of the veteran's tyranny, Dok-go Cheol stepped in, taking Bong Cheong-ja away in front of everyone.

The memories of 25 years ago stirred emotions as Bong Cheong-ja and Dok-go Cheol reminisced. Unaware that Dok-go Cheol was the detective 0728 from her past, Bong Cheong-ja smiled, while Dok-go Cheol's affectionate smile revealed his knowledge of her true identity as Lim Se-ra. Bong Cheong-ja's slowly returning memories of the day she disappeared added to the intrigue.
