ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo Shares Emotional Farewell Before Military Enlistment

ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo has shared a heartfelt moment with fans as he prepares for his military enlistment.

On October 24, Cha Eun-woo uploaded a video titled 'I'll Be Back!' on his YouTube channel. As he prepared for enlistment, he stated, "Tomorrow is the day, so I'm here to get my hair cut."

Visiting a salon, Cha Eun-woo opted for a buzz cut and humorously remarked, "So this is what my scalp looks like. It's my first time seeing it," while touching his newly shaved head. He also took selfies to capture the moment.

On the day of his enlistment, ASTRO members accompanied Cha Eun-woo to Nonsan to see him off. Fellow member Jinjin commented, "It feels strange. I can't tell if I'm pretending to be calm or if I really am. It's different from when we sent MJ off." MJ jokingly added, "I'm not worried."

Cha Eun-woo expressed his gratitude, saying, "I had a meal with people I'm very thankful for, and many came to Nonsan to see me off." He continued, "For the next year and a half, I'll be living as a regular person, Lee Dong-min, not the celebrity Cha Eun-woo. I'm a bit worried, but I'll make sure to stay healthy in body and mind."

Born in 1997, Cha Eun-woo, now 28, entered the Army training center on September 28. After completing basic military training, he will serve in the Army band and is expected to be discharged on January 27, 2027.
