Shinhwa's Lee Min-woo to Become a Father of Two Daughters

Lee Min-woo of Shinhwa is set to become a father of two daughters.

On the October 16th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Mr. House Husband Season 2', Lee Min-woo traveled to Japan to reunite with his fiancée and her 6-year-old daughter.

During the episode, Lee Min-woo reunited with his fiancée after three months apart. He teased the gender reveal of their unborn child, sharing, "The baby was conceived during a trip to Yangyang, so we nicknamed them 'Yangyang'."

While on the plane to Japan, Lee Min-woo admitted, "I want to visit often, but honestly, it's expensive." To save money, he opted for the monorail and train instead of a taxi, which would have cost around 100,000 won. However, he didn't hesitate to spend 140,000 won on a bouquet, showcasing his romantic side.

The face of his fiancée, Iami, a third-generation Korean-Japanese who resembles Lee Min-jung and Yano Shiho, was revealed. The couple evolved from close friends to life partners over 12 years.

Iami shared, "I'm 21 weeks pregnant, six months along. The due date is December 4th," expressing her joy. Lee Min-woo expressed his concern upon seeing his fiancée looking tired and worn out.

Iami admitted, "It wasn't a planned pregnancy, so I was worried about our future. But he asked me to trust him and live together."

Aware of Lee Min-woo's financial situation, Iami continued teaching Pilates even after becoming pregnant, which led to a risky moment of bleeding. She explained, "I couldn't ask for help knowing his circumstances, and I couldn't stop working."

Lee Min-woo showed a close bond with Iami's 6-year-old daughter by picking her up from kindergarten. Baek Ji-young commented, "Min-woo suddenly became a father and a husband," amazed at his maturity.

Meanwhile, the gender of Lee Min-woo and Iami's baby was revealed to be a girl. The 6-year-old daughter tearfully expressed concern, saying, "If it's a younger sister, Min-woo and mom will be taken away from me." Lee Min-woo's father stated, "I don't care about the gender, but mom wanted a son," yet he smiled at the news of having a granddaughter.

Lee Min-woo reassured, "To my three princesses, coming to Korea might be daunting, but feel free to come." His fiancée expressed her affection, saying, "I hope the hardships you've faced will improve. I'm more excited than anxious."
