The daughter of actress Sunwoo Yong-nyeo, who once swept rookie awards as a singer in the 1990s, has now made headlines by transforming into a practicing doctor in the United States.

On the 13th, a video titled "First Look at Sunwoo Yong-nyeo's Daughter's Luxurious 100-Pyeong Mansion in LA (+Mother-Daughter Fight)" was released on Sunwoo Yong-nyeo's channel.

In the video, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo reveals the current life and home of her daughter, Choi Yeon-je (real name Kim Yeon-je), who resides in the U.S. Meeting her mother, Choi Yeon-je showcases her expertise as she runs a traditional medicine clinic, impressing viewers with her professionalism.

Reflecting on her past as a singer, Choi Yeon-je shared, "I started my singing career in Korea because I didn't want to be apart from my mom," explaining her early choice to enter the entertainment industry. Sunwoo Yong-nyeo added, "I actually didn't want her to become a singer. I wanted her to go to medical school," shedding light on her daughter's past decisions.

Previously, Sunwoo Yong-nyeo had revealed on YouTube the circumstances that led her daughter to choose a career in entertainment. Due to her husband's debt guarantee, the family was burdened with a debt of 17.5 million won, equivalent to about 20 billion won today. To support her family, Choi Yeon-je balanced her studies with her entertainment career, pursuing her dreams.

Choi Yeon-je debuted as a singer in 1992, achieving success with hits like "Erased in My Memory" and "If You Give Me Your Heart," earning awards such as the Rookie of the Year. However, she ended her entertainment career after her fourth studio album in 2001. She later moved to the U.S., got married, and earned a doctorate in women's health and infertility.
