Wavve Unveils Full Series of 'I KILL U' Featuring Unseen Narratives and Action
The complete series of 'I KILL U', showcasing narratives, action, and stories unseen in previous films, is set to premiere on Wavve.

Premiering on Friday, the 22nd, 'I KILL U' on Wavve follows Sunwoo, played by Kang Ji-young, a former taekwondo prodigy now working part-time jobs. She becomes entangled in a massive conspiracy while trying to pay for her mother's medical bills, leading to a hard-boiled action saga. Kang Ji-young takes on dual roles as both the underprivileged Sunwoo and the wealthy heiress Ji-yeon, while Lee Gi-kwang plays Ji-yeon's half-brother, Ho-jung. Known as a member of the original 'global idol' group KARA, Kang Ji-young's dual performance, alongside Lee Gi-kwang's screen debut, has garnered anticipation from both domestic and international fans.

Kang Ji-young, a second-generation idol from KARA, and Lee Gi-kwang, a 2.5-generation idol from BEAST, both rose to fame in the 2010s music scene. After pursuing individual careers in the entertainment industry, they reunite in 'I KILL U', heightening expectations.

'I KILL U' was invited to the 29th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, where it won the 'Méliès International Film Festival Federation Asian Film Award'. The full series version, available on Wavve from August 22nd, includes detailed portrayals of Sunwoo's inner emotions and motivations, as well as unreleased scenes and new action sequences featuring Kang Ji-young and Lee Gi-kwang. This promises to offer existing fans new enjoyment and provide new fans with fresh 'entry points' into the series.

The production team stated, "We have maximized the story immersion unique to this series version, with each episode being a 30-minute mid-form format that allows viewers to piece together the story puzzle with thrilling enjoyment. We promise a rich narrative with diverse supporting characters and engaging storylines, so we ask for your interest and anticipation."

The hard-boiled action drama 'I KILL U' six-part series will be fully available on Wavve starting Friday, the 22nd.
