Mun Ka-young Reflects on 'Law and The City' Finale and Her Journey

Mun Ka-young, who portrayed a romantic storyline with actor Lee Jong-suk in 'Law and The City,' shared her thoughts on the series finale, expressing support for everyone enduring their own challenges.

In the recently concluded tvN drama 'Law and The City,' Mun Ka-young took on the role of Kang Hee-ji, a character who sacrifices her dream of becoming a pianist to protect her family by pursuing a career as a lawyer. The drama follows the emotional and professional growth of five associate lawyers working in the Seocho-dong legal district. The final episode achieved impressive ratings, with an average of 7.5% in the Seoul metropolitan area (peaking at 8.6%) and 7.7% nationwide (peaking at 8.9%).

Mun Ka-young's portrayal of first-year associate lawyer Kang Hee-ji resonated with audiences through her realistic depiction of personal growth and internal conflict between ideals and reality. Despite numerous challenges, Hee-ji ultimately chooses to become a public defender, marking another step in her development. Her determined pursuit of her goals provided viewers with a quiet yet profound sense of inspiration and courage.
