'House Husband 2' Dominates Saturday TV with Lee Min-woo's Surprise Wedding Announcement

The episode of KBS 2TV's 'House Husband 2' aired on the 9th, featuring Park Seo-jin's 12th debut anniversary and the surprise wedding announcement of 'sold-out man' Lee Min-woo. According to Nielsen Korea, the episode garnered a nationwide rating of 6.7%, with a peak of 7.9% during Lee Min-woo's segment where he expressed concerns about his financial stability due to a lack of steady income. Special MC Kim Won-hee and special guest Ji-yoo from the group Kiki also appeared on the show.

Lee Min-woo's story, who recently made headlines with his surprise marriage announcement to someone 11 years his junior, was exclusively revealed on 'House Husband 2'. He contacted the production team first, stating, "I have something to tell you," which heightened the tension among the MCs. He then shocked everyone by declaring, "I'm getting married."

Lee Min-woo recalled meeting his future bride, a third-generation Korean-Japanese, at a gathering after his 2013 Japan tour. He further surprised everyone by announcing, "She's pregnant," explaining that the baby's nickname is 'Yangyang', named after a trip to Yangyang.

He also shared that they reunited after their last meeting in 2018 and became a couple. His fiancée is a single mom raising a 6-year-old daughter after a divorce. The broadcast showed Lee Min-woo living like a family with his fiancée and her daughter, with viewers captivated by the fiancée's beauty, reminiscent of model Yano Shiho and actress Lee Min-jung.
