Kim Sook Reflects on 30 Years of Life's Ups and Downs on MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes'

Television personality Kim Sook candidly shared the ups and downs of her 30-year career.

In the preview for the 311th episode of MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes,' released on the 8th, Kim Sook embarks on a journey titled '30 Years of Turbulent Living' with her close friend Jang Hye-jin.

Together with Joo Woo-jae, the duo revisited the homes Kim Sook lived in, reminiscing about the past. The first stop was a semi-basement apartment in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, where she lived at the age of 22. Kim Sook recalled, "It was so cold in the winter, and the cockroaches were as big as my palm," sharing a bittersweet memory.

She added, "If you turned your head, you'd meet eyes with them," vividly recounting her struggles at the time.

During her time in a two-room apartment in Yeongdeungpo, she faced another challenge. Kim Sook admitted, "I spent all day on the computer or smoking, completely absorbed in it. Looking back, it was the toughest period."

Having persevered through the years with determination, Kim Sook is now the proud owner of a luxurious camping house. She recently revealed her purchase of a camper van worth around 30 million won, expressing satisfaction with its amenities, including a refrigerator, microwave, and warmer.

Her close friend Jang Hye-jin expressed her admiration, saying, "My friend Sook has worked so hard. I love being known as Kim Sook's friend, Jang Hye-jin."
