Heartfelt Farewell: 'Ganeungjeong Oneungjeong Lee Min-jung' Concludes Its Journey

On the episode aired on the 8th, KBS 2TV's 'Ganeungjeong Oneungjeong Lee Min-jung' (hereafter 'Gaojeong') showcased the final journey of the 'Jeong Siblings' (Lee Min-jung, Boom, Ahn Jae-hyun, Kim Jung-hyun, Kim Jae-won) as they shared warmth and kindness. Despite the scorching heat, the Jeong Siblings worked tirelessly for the residents of a rural village experiencing food desertification. Guest appearances by Young-tak and renowned Chinese cuisine chef Yeo Kyung-rae added to the final exchange of warmth.

The next day, the Jeong Siblings and Young-tak prepared an unprecedented village feast for the residents of Udo. With 51 years of experience, Korea's representative Chinese cuisine chef Yeo Kyung-rae visited the Jeong Siblings' accommodation early in the morning to prepare a feast. He cooked delicious Chinese dishes like sweet and sour pork, black bean noodles, and spicy seafood noodles for the residents who couldn't enjoy them due to delivery issues.
Each member of the Jeong Siblings gave their best effort. Led by Lee Min-jung and Kim Jung-hyun, they assisted Chef Yeo Kyung-rae in cooking. Ahn Jae-hyun and Kim Jae-won took charge of the coffee truck, transforming into one-day baristas. Boom kept the atmosphere lively, bringing laughter to the village residents. Young-tak surprised everyone with his drawing skills, gifting caricatures to the residents.
The residents of Udo were deeply moved by the opportunity to taste authentic Chinese cuisine from a renowned chef. They also enjoyed shopping for daily necessities from 'Gaojeong's signature supercar. Amidst the laughter, a surprise performance began. Someone wearing a large box took the stage, showcasing impressive singing and dancing skills. The person inside the box was none other than the eldest of the Jeong Siblings, Lee Min-jung.
Following this, Young-tak, the idol of the elderly, delivered an explosive performance. The Jeong Siblings joined in with a group dance to "Jin Jin Jin Jin Jin-iya," turning the village hall into a concert venue filled with joy. It was a fitting conclusion for 'Gaojeong,' where warmth and happiness were shared.
Through 'Gaojeong,' Lee Min-jung, Boom, Ahn Jae-hyun, Kim Jung-hyun, and Kim Jae-won worked hard to give and receive warmth. Lee Min-jung showcased a warm and friendly side, contrasting her typically cool and chic image. The show also featured guest appearances by Shin Dong-yup, Lee Jun-young, Wi Ha-joon, Park Kyu-young, Yang Dong-geun, Lee Chan-won, DinDin, and Young-tak.
'Gaojeong' highlighted the meaning of 'sharing warmth' through delivering daily necessities, helping hands, and village festivals for rural residents. However, there were some disappointments, such as unnecessary 'surprise cameras' under the guise of celebrating Ahn Jae-hyun's birthday, which drew criticism, and the show's ratings remaining at around 1% despite being Lee Min-jung's first variety show challenge.
