Im Soo-hyang Reflects on Past Crush on Lee Jang-woo on 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2'

On the latest episode of MBN and Channel S's variety show 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2', aired on the 8th, Im Soo-hyang reminisced about her past crush on actor Lee Jang-woo.

During the episode, Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) explored the culinary delights of Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, with actress Im Soo-hyang as their 'food friend'. Kwak Tube, who had initially expected Han Sun-hwa, was visibly surprised, while Jeon Hyun-moo teased him.

When Im Soo-hyang asked, "Are you disappointed that it's me?", Kwak Tube replied, "I didn't expect it at all because I was told it was someone from Busan. I know you very well from 'Gangnam Beauty'."

After tasting the famous spicy kimbap from Jinju that Im Soo-hyang prepared, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "How did you two meet?" Im Soo-hyang revealed, "I set him up on a blind date." Jeon Hyun-moo guessed, "A musical actress?" but Im Soo-hyang clarified that she introduced him to a flight attendant, causing laughter.

Im Soo-hyang, who debuted in T-ara's 'Lovey-Dovey' music video, shared, "I made my TV debut at 20 with a minor role in '4th Period Mystery'. It wasn't a street casting; I was discovered by chance on set."

She continued, "I appeared as Lee Yeon-hee's sister in 'Paradise Ranch' and landed the lead role in 'New Tales of Gisaeng' after overcoming 2000:1 odds in the audition."

Im Soo-hyang also mentioned Lee Jang-woo's upcoming marriage and shared their connection. "I heard Jang-woo oppa is getting married," she said, adding, "We worked together on the drama 'I Do, I Do'. He was incredibly handsome back then, to the point of creating legendary memes. I played a character who had a crush on him."

Jeon Hyun-moo commented, "If you did it now, it wouldn't be as immersive," while Kwak Tube humorously added, "Now, she's in love with food," bringing laughter to the set.
