Song Joong-ki and Chun Woo-hee Reignite First Love in 'My Youth'

On August 6th, 'My Youth' released a teaser poster and opening teaser video that evoke the nostalgic memories of first love. The series follows the romance of Sun Woo-hae (played by Song Joong-ki) and Sung Jae-yeon (played by Chun Woo-hee) as they reunite after their innocent first love at nineteen.
'My Youth' tells the emotional romance of Sun Woo-hae, who starts a normal life later than others, and Sung Jae-yeon, who unexpectedly disrupts the peace of first love. The reunion with a first love that once brought a dazzling moment to a dark place leads them on a journey to rediscover forgotten pieces of themselves, offering warm laughter and excitement. Directed by Lee Sang-yeob, known for his delicate direction in 'Yumi's Cells' and 'Familiar Wife', and written by Park Si-hyun, who showcased her sensibility in 'Run On', the series is highly anticipated for its unique emotional romance.

The opening teaser video begins with Sun Woo-hae's narration, "Does anyone remember the first season, that year, the first snow?" It evokes memories of first love, as Sun Woo-hae, Sung Jae-yeon, Mo Tae-rin (played by Lee Joo-myung), and Kim Seok-joo (played by Seo Ji-hoon) recall their innocent, dreamy, and awkward youth.
Sun Woo-hae's reflective voice, "At nineteen, you were like a stone that tripped me up," brings back memories of first love. The fresh smiles of Sun Woo-hae (played by Nam Da-reum) and Sung Jae-yeon (played by Jeon So-young) boarding a bus on a rainy day evoke excitement. The view outside the window of the grown-up Sun Woo-hae and Sung Jae-yeon raises curiosity about what has changed since they were nineteen. Sun Woo-hae's question, "What would you say if you saw me now?" heightens anticipation for their first love reunion romance.

Lee Joo-myung plays 'Mo Tae-rin', a former child star with a candid and quirky charm. Mo Tae-rin falls in love with the voice of Kim Seok-joo, who did school broadcasts during their school days. Seo Ji-hoon plays 'Kim Seok-joo', a tax accountant and Sun Woo-hae's new brother, who becomes intriguingly entangled with the peculiar Mo Tae-rin. The chemistry between Lee Joo-myung and Seo Ji-hoon is highly anticipated.
'My Youth' premieres on September 5th at 8:50 PM and airs two consecutive episodes every Friday. It will be available for streaming on Coupang Play in Korea, and globally on Viu in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, and on Rakuten Viki in the Americas, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, and India.
