Kim Da-ye, Wife of Broadcaster Park Soo-hong, Shares Postpartum Health Scare

Kim Da-ye, the wife of popular broadcaster Park Soo-hong, recently opened up about a critical health scare she experienced shortly after giving birth.
On November 2, the couple shared a video titled "Meeting Enjoy Couple Jae and Son Min-soo Im Ra-ra Couple, Pregnancy and Childbirth Behind-the-Scenes Talk, Wishing for a Safe Delivery" on their personal channel 'Park Soo-hong Happy Dahong.'
In the video, Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye engaged in a conversation with comedian couple Son Min-soo and Im Ra-ra, discussing the events surrounding their childbirth. When Im Ra-ra, who is pregnant with twins, inquired about the experience, Kim Da-ye revealed an unexpected crisis.
She stated, "I was in good health and actively working on advertising contracts until the day before giving birth, but the day after delivery, I suddenly lost consciousness." She continued, "My fever spiked to 41 degrees Celsius, and I experienced full-body convulsions. My inflammation level was measured at 17, whereas the normal level is around 0.03, and anything above 11 is considered an emergency."

Kim Da-ye further explained, "It was a shock state with no clear cause. My body just collapsed suddenly," emphasizing the importance of taking adequate rest and not overexerting oneself immediately after childbirth.
Previously, Park Soo-hong had appeared on the KBS2 variety show 'The Return of Superman,' where he disclosed, "(My wife's) inflammation levels increased twentyfold, leading to hospitalization and treatment, including surgery."
Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye registered their marriage in July 2021 and held their wedding ceremony in December the following year. Kim Da-ye announced her pregnancy through IVF in March last year and gave birth to their daughter via C-section in October.
