Kang Min-kyung Reveals Her Secret to Maintaining a Slim Figure

On her YouTube channel 'Kang Ming Kyung', a video titled 'The Truth Behind Kang Min-kyung's Vlog' was uploaded.
In the video, after successfully completing a shoot, Kang Min-kyung enjoyed a delicious meal of grilled gopchang (beef intestines) during a company dinner. She revealed, "I only ate two eggs and a piece of dried sweet potato yesterday because I was worried about my face swelling." A staff member expressed surprise, noting, "And you didn't eat anything until lunch today, right? Was it because of the shoot?" Kang Min-kyung explained, "That's what's frustrating. I was really hungry after the shoot, but I held back and went to sleep because of it," highlighting her strict self-discipline.
After the shoot, Kang Min-kyung indulged in golbaengi muchim (spicy sea snail salad) and beef brisket, accompanied by a drink. She stated, "I can eat freely when I want to, but there are times when I have important shoots, and I have a strong desire for food. If there's a dish that matches my cravings, I go all out."

She continued, "I've tried extreme diets when I was younger. Since I'm in a profession where appearance matters, there are times when I have to be strict with my diet and routine." Kang Min-kyung shared, "After maintaining a lean body for a long time, I feel like my body composition has slightly changed. Once I lost a significant amount of weight, I increased my basal metabolic rate through exercise. Although muscle mass will decrease as I age, I've managed to maintain my body well so far."
However, she cautioned, "This method may not work for everyone, so I'm worried people might try to follow it. It's important to find a way that suits you and manage your health more effectively."
Meanwhile, Kang Min-kyung mentioned Choi Hwa-jung while enjoying patbingsu (shaved ice dessert). She recalled, "When Davichi appeared as guests on Choi Hwa-jung's radio show, she mentioned a patbingsu place she liked, which turned out to be run by her family. It was fascinating." She added, "I wonder if there's a DNA for taste. Choi Hwa-jung is great at introducing delicious food. It's really amazing."
