Jung Il-woo Credits Exercise for Regaining Health After Aneurysm Diagnosis

In a recent video on Kim Jong-kook's YouTube channel titled 'Il-woo's Unspeakable Health... (Feat. Jung Il-woo, Choi Han-jin)', Jung Il-woo made an appearance with chicken breast soba, sparking interest.
Jung Il-woo shared, "I've known Kim Jong-kook for about 15 to 16 years now. I'm currently working on a drama and have developed a strong interest in fitness, so I reached out to him to work out together." Kim Jong-kook responded, "Isn't it a weekend drama? You haven't been doing much of these various activities for a while."
Jung Il-woo admitted, "I went through a period of wandering and decided to focus on my career seriously. I even did theater during that time, and now I'm officially back to work." Kim Jong-kook added, "You were great in variety shows and were very active, so it was nice to hear from you again. I heard you're taking good care of your body."
Kim Jong-kook also mentioned, "You mentioned being unwell before. Some people are afraid to exercise when they're sick, but you can be a motivation for many." Jung Il-woo responded, "I was also unwell and wondered how to live a healthy life. I realized exercise was the answer, so I do it daily, manage my diet, and enjoy cooking. I even make protein shakes to stay healthy."

Jung Il-woo has appeared on various programs, including TV Chosun's 'Gourmet Heo Young-man's Baekban Journey,' where he revealed he was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm at 27. A brain aneurysm is a condition where a part of the brain's blood vessels bulges like a balloon, making it prone to rupture and causing life-threatening brain hemorrhages. On the show, Jung Il-woo shared, "After the diagnosis, I suffered from depression and couldn't leave the house for over a month. It made me realize that life is unpredictable, and I should enjoy the present and do what I want."
