Comedian and CEO Song Eun-yi Shares Humorous Payroll Mishap on 'You Quiz on the Block'

Song Eun-yi, who has been a comedian for 32 years and a CEO for 10, appeared on the show to discuss her dual career. During the episode, host Yoo Jae-suk remarked, "You now have more of a CEO image than a comedian. I heard you even have a building in Sangam." When co-host Jo Se-ho asked if the building was worth 7 billion won, Song clarified, "The 10 billion won CEO rumor is a misunderstanding. The building was an investment for content creation."
Song Eun-yi then recounted a humorous incident where she accidentally paid her employees twice. "When I first started the company, I handled all the transfers myself. One day, I forgot to cancel an automatic transfer and ended up paying salaries twice. But no one said a word," she shared.

Ultimately, Song Eun-yi resolved the issue by asking her employees, "Should we consider it an advance or a double payment for two months?" She then retracted the extra payment and redistributed it, sharing this as a minor hiccup in her journey as a CEO.
Song Eun-yi's company, which started with just five employees, has now grown to a team of 50. She expressed her heartfelt management philosophy, saying, "My salary is still 3 million won. I hope my employees can grow more, and I can at least increase their meal allowances."
