Gong Seung-yeon Credits Sister TWICE's Jeongyeon for Support in New Drama 'Traveling for You'

Actress Gong Seung-yeon revealed that she received support from her sister while filming 'Traveling for You'.

On the 29th, a press conference for Channel A's drama 'Traveling for You' was held at the Shocking K-Pop Center in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Gong Seung-yeon, Yoo Jun-sang, Kim Jae-young, Hong Soo-hyun, Oh Hyun-joong, and director Kang Sol.

'Traveling for You' is a drama that follows a travel reporter who embarks on journeys on behalf of others, discovering the true meaning of success and life along the way.

Gong Seung-yeon, who plays the role of Kang Yeoreum, a former idol and a travel reporter, explained, "Yeoreum is a former idol and a travel reporter with five years of experience. She takes on others' travels but also reflects on herself, making her a character that grows."

When asked if she received help from her younger sister, TWICE's Jeongyeon, Gong Seung-yeon confirmed, "Yes." She added, "Although my sister didn't directly give advice, I felt a lot of emotional support from her." She continued, "Just having a sister who is an idol was a great help. However, I didn't show her my dance moves because I thought she might laugh," she said with a smile.

In conclusion, Gong Seung-yeon expressed, "Through this drama, I hope to provide healing to the viewers. The word 'travel' itself is exciting and something essential in our lives. I hope everyone can take a moment to relax while watching our drama."

'Traveling for You' is set to premiere on the 2nd of next month at 9:20 PM.
