Unexpected Reunion: Choo Young-woo and Cho Yi-hyun's Shocking Kiss in 'Gyeonwoo and Seonnyeo'

Choo Young-woo reunites with Cho Yi-hyun, who is possessed by an evil spirit, in the latest episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Gyeonwoo and Seonnyeo' (directed by Kim Yong-wan, written by Yang Ji-hoon, planned by CJ ENM, produced by Studio Dragon, Dexter Pictures, and IO Contents Group). In episode 11, Bae Gyeon-woo (played by Choo Young-woo) finally meets Park Seong-ah (played by Cho Yi-hyun), whom he has been desperately searching for. The episode ends with a surprising kiss between Park Seong-ah, possessed by Bong-su, and Bae Gyeon-woo, hinting at unpredictable developments to come.

The unexpected 'Bong-su possession' kiss reunion between Park Seong-ah and Bae Gyeon-woo sparked a heated reaction. Episode 11 achieved a viewership rating of 4.6% on average and a peak of 5.4% in the Seoul metropolitan area, and 4.7% on average and a peak of 5.7% nationwide, maintaining its position as the top show in its time slot across cable and general programming channels. On this day, Park Seong-ah awakens following the death of Dongcheon General (played by Kim Mi-kyung). To save Bae Gyeon-woo, she absorbs the evil spirit Bong-su into her body and disappears. Her promise to return before graduation remains unfulfilled. After graduating and earning the title of national representative, Bae Gyeon-woo resolves to find Park Seong-ah himself. His determination is both solemn and heartfelt as he declares, “Seong-ah, wait for me. Now, I will come to you.” Bae Gyeon-woo is not the only one searching for the missing Park Seong-ah. Yeomhwa uses Bae Gyeon-woo to track Park Seong-ah, hoping to prevent the evil spirit Bong-su from harming others. Yeomhwa is confident that Bae Gyeon-woo can find Park Seong-ah through the power of their human talisman connection.

Bae Gyeon-woo is no longer afraid of the misfortune or ghosts that have haunted him all his life. He tirelessly gathers information from ghosts to locate Park Seong-ah. Yeomhwa, who has been following Bae Gyeon-woo, also heads to where Park Seong-ah is. There, they find Park Seong-ah, now the 'Heavenly Fairy' soothing the vengeful spirits harmed by Bong-su. However, due to Bae Gyeon-woo's unexpected actions, unaware of Yeomhwa's intentions, they lose Park Seong-ah again. Yeomhwa's warning to run away if he meets Park Seong-ah again is ominous.

Meanwhile, Bae Gyeon-woo dreams of a familiar yet unfamiliar classroom. Although the classroom is empty, he feels Park Seong-ah's presence. His intuition proves correct. As Bae Gyeon-woo disappears, Park Seong-ah and Bong-su appear. Even in dreams, Park Seong-ah avoids him, fearing she might harm him if they meet.

The reunion between Park Seong-ah and Bae Gyeon-woo occurs in an unexpected place. Bae Gyeon-woo, visiting the temple of the Flower Spirit (played by Yoon Byung-hee) seen in his dream, encounters Park Seong-ah possessed by an evil spirit. As he catches the fleeing Park Seong-ah, he is surprised by a sudden kiss. Calling out her name in shock, he receives a harsh response from Bong-su, “Do you think it's Seong-ah?” The unexpected 'Bong-su possession' reunion between Park Seong-ah and Bae Gyeon-woo heightens curiosity about the conclusion.

The final episode of tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Gyeonwoo and Seonnyeo' airs on the 29th at 8:50 PM.
