Paul Kim Mistaken for BTS's V During Overseas Trip: Shares Hilarious Anecdote

Singer Paul Kim recently shared a humorous story about being mistaken for BTS's V while traveling abroad.

On the October 26th episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros,' Paul Kim, Jo Jae-joo, and Kang Daniel made appearances.

During the show, Paul Kim opened up about his surprise marriage, revealing, "My wife and I dated for nine years. We've been together for a long time, and she waited patiently for me."

Paul Kim recounted a memorable dinner with his mother-in-law, saying, "She invited me to dinner with my girlfriend, and during the meal, she jokingly threatened, 'If you don't marry her within three years, I'll kill you.'" He added, "Looking back, it felt like a serious warning to take responsibility or break up." Despite concerns that marriage might affect his fanbase, Paul Kim humorously noted, "I realized my fans don't see me as a romantic interest."

Paul Kim also discussed his selective approach to singing at weddings, stating, "I only sing at weddings for close friends. It's such an important occasion, and I fear making mistakes." However, he accepted a request to sing at Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin's wedding, admitting, "I really wanted to attend their wedding; they seemed like a different species."

In another amusing anecdote, Paul Kim shared, "While traveling in the Czech Republic, I was mistaken for BTS's V because my Korean name is Kim Tae-hyung, the same as V's real name." He continued, "A hotel staff member asked if I was BTS, mistaking me for V. I jokingly replied, 'BTS wouldn't stay at a hotel like this.'"
