SBS's New Drama 'Try: We Become a Miracle' Aims to Captivate Audiences with Rugby-Themed Storyline

On the 25th, a press conference for the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become a Miracle' (hereafter referred to as 'Try') was held at the SBS headquarters in Mokdong, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Yoon Kye-sang, Im Se-mi, Kim Yo-han, and director Jang Young-seok.
'Try' is a comedic sports drama that follows the unpredictable director Joo Ga-ram (played by Yoon Kye-sang) and the perpetually last-place Hanyang High School rugby team as they strive for victory at the national sports festival.
Yoon Kye-sang takes on the role of Joo Ga-ram, a retired national rugby player and the coach of the Hanyang High School rugby team. He explained his choice to join the project, saying, "The script was entertaining. While viewers might think it's a typical story, it's anything but." He added, "The strong storyline is the drama's strength and appeal."

This marks Yoon Kye-sang's return to an SBS drama after 18 years since 'Crazy for Love' in 2007. He expressed his eagerness to impress, stating, "I want to show my best since it's been 18 years. I'm confident it will do well." He urged viewers to tune in, promising, "It's a drama where you can discover the new charm of rugby. Please show a lot of interest."

Im Se-mi also confessed her admiration for Yoon Kye-sang, saying, "When I heard my partner was Yoon Kye-sang, I had no reason to refuse. I'm a fan of g.o.d and especially of Yoon Kye-sang." She added with a laugh, "My online ID was 'Kye-sang's wife.' As someone from Gangnam who was a fan, it's an honor to work with him."
She encouraged viewers to watch the shooting team, saying, "While the rugby team engages physically, the shooting team focuses quietly. There are many friends between Joo Ga-ram and Bae Yi-ji, and their relationships are interesting. There are many warm and delightful moments, so please show a lot of interest."

When asked how he prepared for the role of a rugby player, he replied, "I trained with rugby players every week for three months before filming." Kim Yo-han shared, "It was challenging because it's an unfamiliar sport, but I gradually found it enjoyable. I had fun both during practice and filming."

He concluded, "'Try' portrays children who dream of goals that aren't easily cheered for by others and adults who support them wholeheartedly. I hope viewers will watch our drama with a warm, supportive heart. Please show it a lot of love."
'Try' premieres tonight at 9:50 PM.
