Taeyeon's Surprising Connection with a Guest on 'Amazing Saturday'

On the October 12th episode of tvN's 'Amazing Saturday', a guest with a special connection to Taeyeon made an appearance.

The episode featured 'Iron Girl Squad 2' members Uee, Geum Sae-rok, Coach Kim Ji-hoon, and singer DinDin.

Uee shared about 'Iron Girl Squad 2', saying, "In season 1, we completed a triathlon, and this time, we're taking on boxing."

In a pre-interview, Uee mentioned that "Kim Dong-hyun looks handsome," and revealed, "In season 1, he seemed like a triathlon participant. We both said 'it's tough' in the same way." Kim Dong-hyun responded, "Uee's record is faster than mine."

Uee humorously corrected herself, saying, "In season 2, Kim Dong-hyun helped with training and mental care. His strength is different. But I didn't say he was handsome, I said he was cool."

Geum Sae-rok expressed admiration for rapper Hanhae, saying, "I respect him as a musician." She added, "I've seen him a few times in private, listened to all his songs, and noticed his persistence in wanting to convey his stories and philosophy. I think he's a genuine artist."

MC Boom wrapped up the interview, noting the extended airtime for Kim Dong-hyun and Hanhae, bringing laughter to the set.

Meanwhile, Coach Kim Ji-hoon revealed, "I have a connection with Taeyeon from before her debut." When asked if Taeyeon was pretending not to know him, she replied, "It's been a while, so I was unsure." Kim Ji-hoon playfully asked, "Have you gotten better?"

The members were curious about their relationship, asking if he was an 'older brother' figure. Kim Ji-hoon explained, "I was a fitness trainer for Girls' Generation from before their debut until 'Tell Me Your Wish'. We have memories of working out hard, going to Eulwangri to ride banana boats, and eating grilled clams."

Kim Ji-hoon commented on Taeyeon's fitness, saying, "She might not seem athletic, but she's surprisingly above average within Girls' Generation." Taeyeon smiled, adding, "I was quite alright."
