Kim Hieora Expresses Admiration for Song Hye-kyo on 'Four Seats at the Table'

On the October 7th episode of Channel A's 'Best Friends Documentary – Four Seats at the Table', actress Kim Ji-woo was joined by her close friends Aiki and Kim Hieora.
During the episode, Kim Hieora praised actress Song Hye-kyo, with whom she worked on Netflix's 'The Glory'.
Kim Hieora, who often faced rejection in auditions, shared, "I thought about finding a different path, so I started selling clothes. I also busked while selling diffusers, and if a customer wanted, I even sold the clothes I was wearing."
Yearning to return to the stage, Kim Hieora recalled, "I decided to approach auditions as if I were selling something, emphasizing intimacy and assertiveness rather than being reserved. Instead of saying 'I don't have any projects right now,' I joked, 'I'm selling clothes.' That approach worked well for auditions."

In her first drama 'Monster', Kim Hieora worked hard to portray a convincing corpse. She proudly recounted, "When I opened my eyes, the camera director said, 'Your gaze is good. Is this your first time in media? I think we'll see you often.'"
Later, Kim Hieora auditioned for Netflix's 'The Glory'. She said, "I thought it was a minor role audition, but I kept advancing to the next rounds, and they really liked me. They said, 'Your eyes are something else,' and since I didn't fully understand the role, I thought they just liked my gaze."

She continued, "I felt she was truly amazing. Not just anyone can reach that position. I expected everyone on set to be arrogant, but even Lim Ji-yeon showed earnestness, and everyone was desperate. It gradually became an acting competition."
Kim Hieora revealed that 'The Glory' director treated the actors like their characters to enhance immersion. She confessed, "After filming, I went to a restaurant and found myself acting like my character, saying to the staff, 'I asked for lettuce earlier,' just like Sara. My manager had to stop me, saying, 'Stop. Your gaze is strange. Stop talking.'"
