Annie, the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group's Chairwoman, has realized her dream of becoming a singer despite her mother Jung Yoo-kyung's opposition.

On the 29th, the mixed-gender group ALLDAY PROJECT appeared on SBS PowerFM's 'Cultwo Show' and shared their debut stories.

During the show, it was revealed that member Annie is currently majoring in Art History at Columbia University. She shared, "My parents were absolutely against me becoming a singer. My mom was so opposed that she said it would never happen, but she set a condition. She said if I got into an Ivy League school, she would allow me to pursue singing."

Annie added, "My mom promised to support my dream if I got into an Ivy League school, so I studied really hard."

ALLDAY PROJECT, the group Annie is part of, was produced by Teddy, known for producing for BIGBANG and BLACKPINK. Their pre-released track 'FAMOUS' has topped YouTube's trending songs and music video charts, gaining significant attention. The group's name signifies their commitment to exploring new genres and styles without being confined.

Annie is the granddaughter of Lee Myung-hee, the Chairwoman of Shinsegae Group, and the eldest daughter of Jung Yoo-kyung, the President of Shinsegae. She is actively engaging in music shows and variety programs with ALLDAY PROJECT, attracting considerable interest.
