Kim Nam-joo Expresses Discontent Over Husband Kim Seung-woo's Golden Rose Gift on 'My Little Old Boy'

On the recent episode of SBS's 'My Little Old Boy' aired on the 29th, actress Kim Nam-joo appeared as a special MC and shared her thoughts on her husband Kim Seung-woo's golden rose gift.

During the show, Kim Nam-joo opened up about living in her grand mansion for 20 years, revealing the reality of dealing with pests like cockroaches and mice.

Kim Nam-joo stated, "My husband and kids are allergic to cockroaches. Kim Seung-woo is really scared of them, so he throws a thick book at them, and I end up cleaning it up."

When asked, "What if Kim Seung-woo turned into a cockroach one day?" Kim Nam-joo replied without hesitation, "I'd have to catch him," adding humorously, "Since he loves baseball, I'd prepare a glove and a ball in a nice case. But I wouldn't send him to a baseball field; what if someone steps on him?"

Kim Nam-joo also shared a story about a 'golden rose' gift from Kim Seung-woo on Valentine's Day. She said, "I got jealous seeing my son preparing a bouquet for his girlfriend and asked, 'Why don't I get flowers?' The next day, Kim Seung-woo gave me a flower and vase made of gold, saying, 'I'll give you a flower that never withers.'"

However, she expressed her disappointment, saying, "It's not pure gold, just a bit of it. After 20 years, he still doesn't know my taste," indicating she preferred fresh flowers over gold.

Meanwhile, Kim Nam-joo married 'divorced' Kim Seung-woo in May 2005, and they have a son and a daughter. Recently, she began her solo variety show 'Queen of Insight Kim Nam-joo' on SBS Life, marking her first solo venture in 31 years, and she is also actively engaging with fans through her YouTube channel.
