Yoo Jae-suk Addresses 'Minister of Culture' Rumors on 'Running Man'

On the latest episode of SBS's 'Running Man,' Yoo Jae-suk clarified rumors about being nominated as the Minister of Culture.

During the 'Miracle Bob Morning' race aired on the 29th, the cast discussed Yoo Jae-suk's nomination for the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism through a public recommendation system.

Kim Jong-kook mentioned, "I saw in the news that you were recommended for the Minister of Culture," to which Yoo Jae-suk responded, "It's a public recommendation," making it clear.

Despite his clarification, the members jokingly asked if he was becoming a minister and offered their congratulations. Haha humorously added, "This is how you become president."

Yoo Jae-suk further explained, "I hope there's no misunderstanding. It's not something just anyone can do. You have to run for election." Ji Suk-jin encouraged him, saying, "Why not you?" while Haha joked about preparing to run for mayor.

The 'public recommendation system' allows citizens to nominate high-ranking officials like ministers and heads of public institutions. Yoo Jae-suk, along with singer IU and director Bong Joon-ho, were mentioned as potential candidates for the Minister of Culture.

Yoo Jae-suk also shared his healthy lifestyle, revealing that he goes to bed early and wakes up early. When asked if he had breakfast, he confirmed, "Yes, I did." Ji Suk-jin humorously added, "He even grills fish in the morning."

Yoo Jae-suk mentioned, "Today, I had chicken breast with brown rice." He also shared that he fasts after 5 PM and went to bed at 10 PM the previous night, feeling great for the early morning shoot.

Meanwhile, Ji Suk-jin and Ji Ye-eun's coffee truck welcomed the members. Ji Suk-jin revealed that he split the cost with his junior, Ji Ye-eun, which drew some teasing.

Kim Jong-kook commented on Ji Ye-eun's recent weight loss, jokingly asking if Song Ji-hyo was taking her food, as Ji Ye-eun seemed to shrink while Ji-hyo appeared to gain weight. Song Ji-hyo confidently replied, "Bulking up is a skill."
