Krystal Joins Cast of Upcoming tvN Drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea'

Actress and singer Krystal Jung is set to star in the upcoming tvN drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea,' slated for broadcast in the first half of 2026.

With confirmed cast members including Ha Jung-woo, Im Soo-jung, Kim Jun-han, and Shim Eun-kyung, Krystal will take on the role of 'Lee Kyung,' a character who assists her mother's real estate business.

'Lee Kyung' is portrayed as someone who grew up without material wants but carries an inner void, finding emotional support in the couple 'Ki Soo-jong' (played by Ha Jung-woo) and 'Kim Sun' (played by Im Soo-jung).

Krystal received acclaim for her role as 'Han Yoo-rim,' a 1970s actress, in Kim Jee-woon's 2023 film 'Cobweb,' earning her the Best New Actress award at the 33rd Buil Film Awards. She is also preparing her first solo album as a singer.

'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' tells the story of a debt-ridden building owner who becomes involved in crime to protect his family and property, which he values more than life itself. The drama is directed by Im Pil-sung of 'Persona' fame, with a script by writer Oh Han-ki. Filming is set to begin this summer.

The drama is expected to air on tvN in the first half of 2026.
