JTBC's New Drama 'Esquire' Set to Premiere with Star-Studded Cast
Lee Jin-wook, Jung Chae-yeon, Lee Hak-joo, and Jeon Hye-bin are coming together for the new JTBC weekend drama 'Esquire: Lawyers Who Dream of Being Lawyers' (hereafter 'Esquire').

Set to premiere on August 2nd, 'Esquire' is generating buzz as it features these four actors navigating the world of a major law firm.

The drama follows the journey of a rookie lawyer, Hyo-min (played by Jung Chae-yeon), who is righteous and confident but struggles with social skills. She grows into a complete lawyer under the mentorship of Seok-hoon (played by Lee Jin-wook), a top partner lawyer known for his cold demeanor but exceptional skills.

Lee Jin-wook takes on the role of Yoon Seok-hoon, a partner lawyer at the large law firm Yulim. Known for his sharp logic and warm heart, Lee Jin-wook is expected to deliver a performance full of depth and gravitas.

Jung Chae-yeon plays Kang Hyo-min, a rookie lawyer in Yulim's litigation team. Despite her seemingly clumsy nature, she stands out with her intuition and quick thinking in critical moments. Her growth as a novice lawyer facing continuous lawsuits is highly anticipated.

Lee Hak-joo portrays Lee Jin-woo, a witty and cheerful associate lawyer. He understands his senior Yoon Seok-hoon's intentions better than anyone and takes care of the junior colleagues, playing a crucial role as a middle manager at Yulim.

Lastly, Jeon Hye-bin plays Heo Min-jung, an associate lawyer at Yulim. A latecomer to the legal profession, she successfully graduated from law school and confidently paved her own path. After joining Yulim, she makes her presence known with her unique drive.

The four actors, each with distinct personalities and stories, showcased their chemistry and commitment to their roles during the script reading. Their high synchronization with their characters promises to anchor the drama firmly.
