Actor Choo Young-woo recently shared that he was once scouted by a major idol agency.
Choo Young-woo appeared on the web variety show 'Salon Drip 2' on the YouTube channel 'Theo,' which was released on the 24th.
During the show, Choo Young-woo revealed, "Until I was 19, I didn't have a clear career path, so I focused on studying." He added, "I liked science and wanted to become a biological researcher or a teacher. I think I was ranked first or second in my class," surprising many.

In response, Jang Do-youn commented, "I heard people around you suggested you try becoming a celebrity," to which Choo Young-woo replied, "I did receive business cards from idol agencies when I was in high school." He continued, "I think I received offers from all the big ones. I definitely got one from JYP Entertainment, but I can't remember which other one it was." Choo Young-woo explained that he turned down the casting offers, thinking it was a world too different from his own.

Choo Young-woo shared, "I received a business card at Daejeon Station. The agency staff was probably on their way back to Seoul after some business and gave it to me. Another time, I was sightseeing in Seoul with friends when I got one." He humorously added, "I used to be quite good-looking back then," to which Jang Do-youn responded, "You still are. Don't you look in the mirror?" causing laughter.
