SEVENTEEN's Mingyu Expresses Disappointment Towards Kim Jong-kook on 10th Anniversary

SEVENTEEN celebrates their 10th anniversary, and Mingyu's candid remarks about Kim Jong-kook have caught attention.

On the September 24th episode of SBS's 'Tumman Naman', SEVENTEEN members Hoshi and Mingyu made a special appearance.

During the show, Yoo Jae-suk warmly welcomed Hoshi and Mingyu, noting their close friendship. He remarked, "Isn't it amazing that SEVENTEEN has already reached their 10th anniversary?" Hoshi added, "We debuted alongside TWICE in 2015."

Yoo Jae-suk also recalled SEVENTEEN's showcase on the Jamsu Bridge, to which Mingyu proudly responded, "We were the first to do it." Hoshi humorously added, "We love being the first, the best, and the strongest," bringing laughter to the set.

Yoo Jae-suk reminisced about a past mission where he encountered Mingyu's photo, expressing his delight in meeting him in person. In a previous broadcast, Kim Jong-kook humorously exclaimed, "Who is this?" upon seeing Mingyu's photo, which became a memorable moment.

Mingyu candidly shared, "I saw the broadcast where Kim Jong-kook sunbae-nim looked at my photo and said, 'Who is this?' I felt a bit disappointed at that moment."

Meanwhile, as SEVENTEEN's Mingyu reflects on their decade-long journey, Kim Jong-kook's recent real estate purchase has also drawn attention. It was reported that Kim Jong-kook recently bought a luxury villa in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, for 6.2 billion won in cash.
