Love Story of Park Young-kyu and His 25-Year-Younger Wife Unveiled on 'Mr. House Husband 2'

The love story of Park Young-kyu and his wife, who is 25 years his junior, was revealed.

On the episode of KBS2TV's 'Mr. House Husband 2' that aired on the night of the 21st at 9:20 PM, viewers were treated to scenes of Park Young-kyu and his wife on a date.

During the broadcast, Park Young-kyu's wife, who is 25 years younger than him, made an appearance. As they set out on their date, Park Young-kyu asked his wife, "Why did you keep pushing me away back then?" To this, his wife responded, "Aren't you too famous?" and admitted, "I had a prejudice and doubt that your interest in me wasn't genuine."

She continued, "Honestly, there are so many glamorous and beautiful people around you, and I'm just an ordinary person," adding, "So I thought it was just curiosity at first." She then shared the moment she fell for Park Young-kyu, saying, "When I saw the hair on your arm while you were driving, it felt masculine, and I thought it might be nice to meet you at least once." She expressed her affection by saying, "During our dating days, I felt excited and my heart raced."

Park Young-kyu confessed, "But I suffered a lot," and added, "I even shed tears. Do you know how much you neglected me?" He continued, "I thought I should reconsider at least once," and recalled, "I didn't want to live a regretful life, so I reached out to understand my feelings better."

Upon arriving at their date location, the couple continued to reminisce about their dating days. Park Young-kyu's wife pulled out an old cellphone they used during their courtship and revealed the text messages they exchanged. The panelists were surprised by the messages, as Park Young-kyu's texts included old-fashioned language and continuous wave symbols. His wife commented, "It felt like the 1970s," and Eun Ji-won, watching from the screen, humorously retorted, "That's not even the 1970s," eliciting laughter.

Meanwhile, Park Young-kyu sincerely expressed to his wife, "I will naturally leave this world before you, but I must live diligently with the heart of protecting and loving you." He added, "Our son once told me never to start a business, and following his advice, I've come this far without any side ventures."
