Heechul's Shy Past Revealed on 'Knowing Bros'

Heechul's shy past was unveiled on the recent episode of 'Knowing Bros'.

On the October 21st episode of JTBC's 'Knowing Bros', musical actors Choi Jung-won, Jung Sun-ah, VIXX's Jung Taek-woon, and BTOB's Lee Chang-sub made guest appearances.

During the show, Jung Sun-ah pointed out Heechul as someone she knew, revealing their connection from his musical debut.

Heechul debuted as a musical actor in 2008 with 'Xanadu', where he played the lead role of Sonny alongside fellow Super Junior member Kangin.

As a first-generation idol venturing into musicals, Heechul admitted, "I didn't know anything and was very shy, but Jung Sun-ah took good care of me," expressing his gratitude.

Jung Sun-ah shared, "That was Heechul's first and last musical. He was so quiet and didn't talk much back then. I wondered how he would manage in a musical."

She continued, "He even ate alone in the car, which made me feel sorry for him. Being an outgoing person, I invited him to eat together, and from then on, we became close, and he started talking more."

The 'Knowing Bros' members were surprised by Heechul's reserved past, to which Lee Soo-geun commented, "That was when he was at the peak of his career, during his mysterious phase."

Heechul mentioned, "Jung Sun-ah even took me to Itaewon and Hongdae," but Jung Sun-ah replied, "I don't remember that," drawing laughter as Heechul lamented, "I guess it was only a memory for me."
