Korean TV Show 'Brain Academy' Challenges Celebrities with Political Trivia

The fourth episode, aired on the 19th, featured six celebrity 'brains'—Jeon Hyun-moo, Ha Seok-jin, Lee Sang-yeob, Yoon So-hee, Hwang Je-sung, and Gwaydo—competing alongside political expert Professor Kim Ji-yoon in a quiz centered around the theme of 'democracy.' Although they missed out on the 'Knowledge Medal' by one question, the participants displayed growing chemistry and knowledge.

The quiz continued with questions about the origins of democracy in Athens and the etymology of the word 'idiot,' which led to humorous exchanges among the participants. Lee Sang-yeob correctly identified 'idiot' as referring to non-voting citizens, further impressing the studio.
Lee Sang-yeob continued his winning streak by answering questions about Aristotle and the political systems of ancient Rome, earning accolades from both Professor Kim and his fellow contestants. Jeon Hyun-moo also demonstrated his knowledge by correctly answering a question about the Roman consul system.
The quiz took a turn towards British history, with Jeon Hyun-moo correctly identifying the Glorious Revolution and explaining the Bill of Rights. The participants then tackled questions about the election systems and the separation of powers, with Jeon Hyun-moo and others contributing to the discussion.
The final challenge involved identifying real photos of former U.S. President Donald Trump among AI-generated images. Despite their efforts, the 'Brain Six' failed to secure the Knowledge Medal in the political category, leaving room for future attempts.
