Epic Culinary Showdown on 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator': Chefs Battle with Exotic Ingredients

On the upcoming episode of JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator,' airing at 9 PM on the 15th, viewers will witness an intense showdown between top chefs using ingredients from 'foodie' Lee Chan-won's refrigerator.
First up, the 'Grand Master of Chinese Cuisine' Yeo Kyung-rae faces off against 'Iron Bag Chef' Lim Tae-hoon in a battle of authentic Chinese dishes. Previously, Lim Tae-hoon won their 'Black and White Chef' duel, paying homage to Yeo Kyung-rae with a deep bow, which became a hot topic.
This time, Yeo Kyung-rae seeks redemption, while Lim Tae-hoon expresses his deep respect by admitting, "I learned to cook from Master Yeo Kyung-rae's book," creating a warm atmosphere.
As the competition begins, the chefs' attitudes diverge sharply. Lim Tae-hoon, who was relaxed in their last encounter, now appears visibly nervous, his hands trembling. In contrast, Yeo Kyung-rae, returning after nine years, cooks with fluid grace, prompting Kim Poong to marvel, "Chef Yeo Kyung-rae moves like he's performing Tai Chi." The world-renowned Chinese chef aims to reclaim his honor in this rematch against rising star Lim Tae-hoon.
The next battle features 'Most Wins' Choi Hyun-seok and 'Michelin Chef' Fabrizio, who take on the challenge of creating unique fine dining dishes with makchang (beef intestines).
For these Italian chefs, makchang is an unfamiliar ingredient. Adding to the tension, Lee Chan-won reveals, "My parents have run a makchang restaurant for 20 years," emphasizing the importance of removing its distinctive odor, showcasing his expertise as a 'makchang specialist.'

Meanwhile, Lee Sedol's 'taste evolution' unfolds. Inspired by Lee Chan-won's '5-minute check' from last week, Lee Sedol expresses his desire to participate, sparking interest.
Contrary to concerns about the spicy dishes tailored to Lee Chan-won's palate, Lee Sedol surprises everyone with his reactions, saying, "This is amazing," and "The taste brings tears to my eyes." Curiosity grows about which chef introduced Lee Sedol to this new world of flavors.
Catch the 15-minute culinary showdown that captivates both 'foodie' Lee Chan-won and 'taste explorer' Lee Sedol on JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' at 9 PM on the 15th.
